this tv is decent for the price, it's HD quality, goes up to 1080i, 720p native.  As far as how it runs, well you pay for what you get.  It has the tendancy to display white colors as purple unless you leave the tv on for a long period of time which seems to fix this, but for the price you can't beat it.  I'd recomend it for someone who doesn't wanna spend lots of money for HDTV's, but if you want quality best to go elsewhere
