Me and my wife fell in love with a Stella scooter with side car we saw in Salt Lake City. So we started the process of getting one. But we really wanted red, the one at the Salt Lake City dealer was orange. But they would change us to paint it red, which was $700! And since scooters where all the rage this year it was very hard to find one with a red side car.
But it so happened the The Scooter Lounge had a red Stella with matching side car reserved from the factory luckily. So we had no choice really to go with them. I'm glad we did for the sake of getting the scooter, but man. I will NEVER do business when them again!
It took about 2 months to actually get our scooter in. Granted a lot of that was waiting for it to be shipped from the factory which they had no control over. But there customer service is so horrible. You call during business hours and rarely do you get anyone to pick up the phone. And even when I did they are not very helpful. When I left messages they never called me back. I'm spending a lot of money with them and I deserve a call back. They obviously don't think so.
Anyway, the scooter finally came in but they had to installed the side car and accessories. So I called that day and they said it would be ready by 5 p.m. So I assumed it would be, I was very wrong. I got there around 5 pm. And they haven't even started installing the side car! And I drove about 45 minutes to get there, so I was not leaving without the scooter. So they stayed after hours and finished it. I left with the scooter in hand at 8:45 pm!
And they didn't even get all the accessories in! They had 2 months to get those in and they did not! So they shipped those to us about a month later after constant calls from me. And two didn't even have all the parts, so I had to call them again. They said they would ship it out and to this day they have still not!
The side car was a different shade of red than the scooter. It wasn't there fault but they paid to have it painted to match the shade of red of the scooter. I was very thankful for that.
