My significant other and I went to Benihana tonight for his birthday. We found it..tucked away from the road. We walked in and went upstairs to the grill area, which was recommended to us. Then the girl said they were closed (mind you online their hours said they were open until 9:30 and it was only 9). Then one of the guys heard us say what terrible service this was and made sure we were seated. The food was excellent and I liked that is was prepared in front of us. Their sushi is fresh and very good also. I was disappointed that they didn't want to seat us so close to closing time. I have worked at restaurants where if someone were to walk in 15 minutes before we closed we still seated them and gave our best service. I was glad that the employees were attentive to us to make our experience a good one, as it was our first time there. I also liked that they did a birthday song, ice cream and took our picture for my boyfriends birthday. Overall I was pleased just wishing our greeting was more pleasant. I would definitely recommend their restaurant for the atmosphere and authentic Japanese food.

Overall a good experience and highly recommend. Prices are a little high for dinner but lunch is very affordable. Also recommend trying the chicken fried rice (3.25).
