I got this thinking it would be a good thing and after reading the instructions. I didn't even want to open it. I wish I would have read it at the store before I bought it.
To "check" your propane level you must pour basically boiling water down the Propane Tank Gauge. Then the entire gauge will turn orange. However within a few seconds, the lower portion will return to yellow. This returned yellow color is below the surface of your propane. Your Gauge will hold this activated color for about 30 seconds. To reactivate pour additional water at the top.
How stupid is that?
